Lyon Voltige was created in May 2016 to promote aerobatics. It is equipped with Mudry Cap 10 B serial 174 number F–GAUT. It operates from the charming airfield Saint-Rambert-d’Albon close to the cities of Lyon and Valence.
Its manager Benoît Silve has been flying since he was a teenager. He was a Navy fighter pilot for 25 years. With a professional pilot license, he instructs voluntarily at Annonay Aero club and aerobatics with Lyon Voltige. He logged more than 3000 flight hours on about 15 aircraft including Super Etendard, Crusader F8E, and Mirage F1CR. He deployed extensively with French carriers Foch and Clemenceau, with more than 540 day and night arrested landing.
